About this summer bridal editorial in the heart of Manhattan New York

This was by far one of the hardest shoots I ever put together. I was going to a city that I was not familiar with and had to reach out to vendors that I did not know! I knew when I planned my birthday trip to NYC, I had to photograph something epic. Yes, this shoot was done on my birthday! I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my birthday any other way. It was awesome!

I got to meet a long time internet friend, Julian Navarette (https://www.instagram.com/navafloral/) Another talented film photographer who happens to be super talented at creating floral designs as well. We were both in NYC at the time and he agreed to create the floral pieces for this shoot. I loved watching his process and being apart of it. I landed in the airport early in the morning, Ubered to the flower district to meet with Julian, and we walked around in the rain for 2 hours picking out flowers. Both tired and hungry, it was still so much fun.

We started the shoot off in this huge blank studio that we rented, and after we went to the infamous NYC Public Library next to Bryant Park. It was right after closing and we basically had the whole front to ourselves. Which is RARE! Since that area of the city is always crawling with people.

It ended up being one of the hardest events I have had to put together myself, I for sure adulted hard on this! But it was so worth it considering I got this editorial featured in my favorite editorial online blog, Magnolia Rouge! I had been submitting to this blog over and over and FINALLY, they accepted my submission!
